h2>Dating : Lily took a deep breath of the crisp air letting her mind rest just for a moment, a poignant smell…

Lily took a deep breath of the crisp air letting her mind rest just for a moment, a poignant smell of what seemed to be shit ripped her from her peace. Gagging and stepping backward careful to stay on the sidewalk Lily flipped off the nearby dogwalker muttering cuss words while making her way into the coffee shop. Skipping past the other people just starring at the wall of possible items she flashes her small smile toward Greg the cute barista with broad shoulders. “hello there welcome to Cristina’s Coffee Imporium, I am Greg what would you like today?” Greg said

Stuck for a moment at the usual speel not because she hadn’t heard it before but the way he said it was all rushed and kinda strange. Shaking herself out of that before he starts to think she is simple she looks over at the frappucino machine but sees the pumpkin-flavored coffee is back.

“Hello Greg, I would love to get that pumpkin spice coffee, and could it be a big cup of it too,” Lily said

Smiling as she gets her coffee and makes her way to the booth in the back of the coffee shop she lets her mind wander since the place was only half full she didn’t need to be super cautious about where she went. The other patrons had made sure to keep tables in between them so there were different paths to the back that she could take to do so. The different paintings on the walls of several sunsets across the world did make her feel better as Alaska would see another 4 months of darkness. Taking off her jacket she lets the warm air rush along her skin as she lounges in the booth ready to let her body finally wake up. Looking through her emails on her phone she sees nothing new besides Twitter and some work emails “fucking Alan I am off.” Ignoring those emails she turns her attention to some of the people in the shop she saw some new faces which were rare mostly regulars since the town of Kodiak was mostly a port town. Lily tilted her head as she watched one gentleman she hadn’t seen anywhere his long black hair was braided into a single braid and his skin was just perfect he had to be 6ft as he made his way toward Greg who was 5’9. “Grrrr”

Lily looked around at that sound not seeing a dog inside she then kept moving not taking into account that it was her stomach she was too smitten to notice.

“Grrrrwollllllll”

This time Greg and the man looked towards her with smirks on their faces “It seems that someone is hungry” said the tall man

Lily can’t help but blush smiling extra hard “Really Stomach you betray me!” just outdone by this she looks at one of the scones and some of the breakfast sandwiches on the display. Reaching into her pocket for her wallet the only thing she pulls out is her stupid keys, id, and phone. Looking at the items in dismay she trudges back over to the booth and tries her best to pull some of her dignity back. A few moments later she sees the tall man take a seat opposite of her with the items she had been eyeing.

“I hate to see a beautiful woman like yourself go hungry, I get it though you are on your morning walk and don’t take wallet cause you spend more in the morning than you need.” Tall man said

“I am sorry for not properly introducing myself I am Jola Mikka I just come in from Jamacia and yes I am native.”

Flashing his pearly whites he extends his hand to cusp hers, she awkwardly gives him her left hand to which he kisses while starring into her hazel eyes with his brown eyes.

“Hello Jola, I am Delaney Cobb, I delighted that you have graced this place and that I get to eat but for reals, I am glad that you were so nice to pay for this I have to pay you back,” Delaney said

Jola squints as he looks at her trying to take in her full beauty her eyes were just so capturing. “Damn she is so gorgeous I could stare at them eyes forever.” To not keep staring at her he takes a bite of his own breakfast sandwich just glad to be out of the cold since coming back to Alaska his body hadn’t acclimated to the cold climate in the weeks since he left beautiful Jamacia.

As the two sit in silence for a while just taking time to eat their food more people trickle in from the port which means the morning was in full swing.

“Delaney can you tell me where the local doctor’s office is?” asked Jola

Perplexed by this question as he seemed healthy but looks could be deceiving

“Yeah, the office is two blocks over behind the post office that sits on the corner of the main street its within walking distance. But if you want I can just put the address on your phone along with my number.” Delaney said

handing his phone over to Delaney while he takes hers he puts his information in her phone. A few of the patrons high five each other as they saw them sitting together exchanging numbers, the town had dubbed her the spinster of Kodiak living.
