h2>Dating : My Name’s Misty and I Have Very Important Job
My brother, the humans call him Ash, can be frustrating sometimes. He doesn’t even try to wake the humans up in the morning. If they stay in bed too long, he doesn’t even bother to try getting them up quicker. I’ve tried reasoning with him to help my cause, but I don’t think he likes food as much as I do.
The humans always try to entertain us with strings and things in the morning before serving us breakfast. I know they’re trying to amuse us… and Ash really seems to enjoy it… but I’d rather just have breakfast right away.
After breakfast, the trials of the shifting light commence.
The humans sit at their desks all day long and stare at screens. They always say things like “Misty, don’t sit right in the middle of my desk!”
Desk, unfortunately, is one of the words I’ve picked up from them.
It looks terribly boring, so I do my best to position myself between them and the weird little things they put their paws on.
When they stop petting me, I let them know that this is unacceptable.
I verbalize my complaints in search of swift problem resolution.
They do an okay job… usually.
The light coming through the squirrel portal changes as hours go by and they just keep putting their paws on those silly machines.
Most days, the humans take a break from the machines. You might think that sounds exciting. You might think it’s the best part of my day.
It… isn’t.
