You came into my life in the most unexpected way. I don’t know you, but you know me. You’ve seen me at my best and stayed at my worst, you know what makes me happy and you know when I’m upset. You knew so much of me and yet I still don’t know you. So, who are you?

You are bold, fearless, and full of dreams. You always knew what you want, you always speak what’s on your mind, and you are full of love. — I am the complete opposite. I don’t like risks, I’m afraid of the future, and I’m always lonely. So, why would you want to be with me?

It was one of those days, those random dedicated days where I think of all the things that worry and scare me that you found me. I still remember how you looked at me. Blank and empty stares, as if you are looking directly through me — trying to understand me. And then it hit me, I knew you and you knew me. You are me, and I am you.

I’ve always had the thought that love is indefinite and that I’ll never run out of love to give but there are just those days where I feel the most empty, days where I’m not sure what or how I should feel. But when you showed up I realized that I don’t have to feel empty on those days, I can be bold, fearless, and full of love.

I still don’t know you completely, but I’m happy that you’re around to remind me that it’s just a bad day and that I’ve got my life ahead of me.
