Dating : Quick Dirty and Wrong

h2>Dating : Quick Dirty and Wrong

Mike

For a long time I have wanted to start writing, not to write a book but to see what it does to my thought’s. According to people smarter than me writing is a form of thinking. A lot of people talk about the benefits of writing to clear the mind and even inspire new ideas and bolster creativity.

I was recently watching one of Matt D’Avella videos where he talked about the concept of QDR, at least that’s what I think it was. The whole premise behind QDR is that in order to start writing tell yourself that its going to be quick dirty and wrong. For example I am writing with this method right now and it has allowed me to write around 130 words without worrying about how things read or grammatical errors. I’ll need to confirm later the quick dirty and wrong are the right words(I never did, it doesn’t matter), I am not so sure about the dirty. This kind of reminds me about the 80/20 rule, 20 percent of actions are responsible for 80 percent of the output, I don’t need to know what the exact acronym is or what the entire principal is in order to benefit from it, instead, I know just enough to take advantage of it as you can see from the above.

I’m not going to promote these writings or try to sell anything, my only intention is to see how it changes me and my thought process.

So, if anyone happens to join me along the way that’s cool, maybe we can learn something from each other, if not I am just as satisfied. My goal is to write one post per week. Topics will cover anything I am doing or thinking that week, it will be a mixed bag of confusion.

Thanks for reading.
