We All Are Story Tellers

Writing is not a simple habit for me. It is my lifeblood. My veins steam substances that weave stories, words, and scenes together to get my thoughts across to the world. We are creatures of habit, and I am bound by my brain’s desire to write. I don’t understand the desire. But I know I can’t fight it. My writing is nearly a spiritual concept for me.

Words come to me. Words flow through me. Words change me. Words feed us, and they breed us.

I first discovered my passion for writing when I was sitting in a room with tears streaming down my face as my parents fought to wonder how I can drown out these pains. I picked up a pen and paper to drown out the world around me. It was my way of expressing how thankful I am for literature and books.

Books don’t lie. Books don’t seek to hurt, and they certainly don’t turn people against you. They feed your imagination. They feed your brain. They show you what love is and what love is not.

Writing fiction, poetry, lyrics, and short expository works that resonated with both my emotions, heart, and imagination. It became clear to me that my life’s blood is in words because they understand me. Sometimes, I think people can understand me, but I believe that words have been a comfort. I do enjoy people. But I find I enjoy writing more than going out to a party or to entertain myself with means that don’t actually bring my life forward.

I’ve always and will always continue to believe that writing will move me forward. I am looking at going into teaching as the main job but plan on delving deeper into the world of writing.

A gift of writing should never be ignored. Coffee, words, and books can make us stronger.

The Power It Has On My Soul

Through my discovery of writing, I uncovered there were words, stories, and secrets in the world that needed to be discovered. This is how I came up with the idea of my first blog site/ publication here on Medium.com. It is called Diary Of Fantastic Discoveries. I wanted to create it because it was the story of all my discoveries in the world. I’m the underdog in the world.

I don’t have beauty in height, I’m not overly attractive physically, and I have glasses. But I will say, I got heart. If nothing at all, I have my heart which beats steady to the rhythm of the lessons I was taught. Born and raised by a disabled mother and a brother. Living off of 1000 dollars a month. It’s difficult to get ahead when you are already pushed back, and you will never be somebody’s first choice. But you will always be living.

Breathe. One day at a time. It’s all we really have. ( I am currently in the process of co-signing a car for my mother because she has never owned one. I’m not in the most comfortable situation as well. But her having one will at least give me comfort.)

The link below is my first writing place on Medium.

I began writing an epiphany piece back in High-School that alongside my writing RP site gave me the inspiration to pursue a Bachelor’s, Writing Degree. The piece was about the way our stoplights work at an intersection and how these lights are often like our life. Then I turned it into a fiction piece about a serial killer and the growth of a woman who loved him but was completely concealed from the darker side of him.

Some of the links to my earlier works can be found here on Tablo. Most of the stories are just poetry and fiction pieces.

Then I came to the world of Medium where I began to write insightful pieces of literature and continue forward with writing on a more solid basis.

Thank you for reading my writer’s bio. Below is my introduction to Illumination as well. With Love, Gratitude, and Appreciation.
