POF : Account from years ago, received 30 e-mails of new matches, but cannot log in or request new password?
I made an account years ago, I thought I deleted it as well. I used a « spam » e-mail to create an account, but I noticed I received ~30 e-mails saying I have matches? Specifically says « you both said yes ». All e-mail were sent today within 20 minutes of each other, around 3pm.
I am honestly so sketched out that someone may be using my account.
I tried logging on but cannot. Tried requesting password reset but I do not receive an e-mail to reset (and not it is not in spam). I read there was a password breach, so I partly believe a bot mass spammed likes which ultimately banned my account within that 20 min window?
When I go to see how to contact POF, they say I can only get help when I am logged in..
Please let me know if anyone has had a similar issue and what to do about this.. I used a « spam » password for this account, so I’m not too worried about my password for other websites.. Let me know if you’re interested in searching up my account for me.

Your account was hacked. The matches are from the cam-bot that took over your account. It went fishing and messaged and matched nearly every guy within 100 miles of your location. Happened to me a while ago. Even when you try to change the password and security settings and questions nothings happens. POF is pos, its pretty much a lost cause.
