Have you tried okcupid at all? They are a little different than POF where in order to message someone you have to like eachother, and you can answer questions and decide if they are deal breakers or not.

Bumble is free but its kinda like Tinder, only difference is women have to message first.

Both Match and EHarmony are scams don’t do them. Once you sign up for eharmony and pay you can’t cancel until the final months payment has been taken out. Match owns POF so not much there.
