POF is long dead my friend. You’re very late to the party. It sucks because it’s literally the last major online dating platform that has open barriers to messaging people. Every other dating platform is structured in a way where you must first match before messaging which is not how online dating was intended to be – a stupid, endless game of “hot or not” that continually conditions society to become more and more picky with selecting mates.
But can you be surprised? This is what happens when the mainstream corners a market and commercializes it and the masses join on – it turns into pure cancer.
