POF : Anyone ever had a successful date from here?
Ive been on pof off and on for years and always end up quitting because i find no one but bots asking for my credit card. Ive had some success on other sites as well as just out there in the real world. Im curious if theres any actual success from pof

I’ve had success before but that was back in 2015 when I met my ex-gf. We were in a relationship for 3 years together. I signed back up this year and have had nothing but disappointment so far. This pretty much goes with all the other dating apps as well. I decided to start focusing on myself more and leave the online dating on the backburner for awhile.
Hello! I am new to the dating scene but long story short. I tried POF and have been seeing this sweet handsome guy for close to 2 months now.
I have had a weird meet up once with this other guy…but that was it lol.
I didn’t post a photo of me on my account either. I start everything with genuine conversation… assuming they hadn’t reported me as a bot.

I’m (40f) using it in Australia and it’s very hit and miss. I’ve met a few decent guys, but I’m selective with who I message. I never message first as I prefer to know the guy has an interest in getting to know me. I specifically say in my profile to please start with something other than hey or hi how are you so anyone who doesn’t, I ignore.
I guess it’s like all dating apps, lots of crap to sort through to find a few good gems!

Got engaged 2 days ago to a man I met on PoF 14 months ago! Did I have some shitty “matches” before I met him? Sure did. But it’s not all bad.

I met a bloke a few years ago I ended up shagging for a couple of years on and off on pof. More recently I met someone I’ve been dating for the past few months.
I’ve had two. One was successful but we just didn’t vibe beyond a friendship level. The other was great in terms of insane sexual chemistry but we ultimately realized we were too busy in our perspective careers to commit to anything serious so we kinda did the FWB for about a year until it fizzled our. We’re still friends though!
That said I waded through A LOT of useless conversations, bots, couples, cuckolds, escorts, and poly groups to land those experiences.
