First time trying pof and I uploaded a profile picture of my dog since I’m shy. Only thing I can think I might have do e wrong, so I made a new account with me… and was auto banned? Anything I can do?

Seems like a harsh response to breaking a simple picture rule.
That said, the warning pops up when you upload pictures saying what you can and can’t post and it does have to be of you so you did break a rule.
POF bans email addresses so delete your profile, make a new email and start over. But if you’re too scared to post a picture, it probably isn’t the place for you, respectfully. Online dating is very photo focused on the popular apps.
Also I received no notice and only found out because I couldn’t update my profile. I can still see everything.
I just made an account 20 mins ago and got banned for no reason. These dating apps are such dogshit
