Yep we do and I think it’s stupid. I used it once thinking it was a like button but it sent an auto-message and was like »Hey I never said that wtf » :/
I also always assumed it was a bot, like the « Hey there 🙂 » was just part of the bot script.
Then one day I got « Hey there 🙂 » from someone that I was certain was real (Not fake pictures, bio talked about local places, etc.) So I responded and asked if she was fake. Turns out she was real and that’s when I figured out women have the flirt button that sends that message.
1) I think it’s pretty sexist that only women get this flirt button.
2) It’s a useless feature anyway.
Because 3) Just send a damn message and put some thought into it.
POF has become such a joke. It’s the People of Walmart of online dating.

Some women have a one word vocabulary when replying.
They’re trying to get women to initiate a conversation. The saya shows women have a FAR higher success rate if they message first but they just aren’t wired that way in western society.
Yeah I thought the flirt button was a « shes interested, send her a message and say hello. » If you went to profile you would see why I sent that flirt. Anyways I stopped using it when I realized what it did. Sometimes I troll obvious fake accounts by « flirting » a lot, but I just dont have time.
Then give me a « rage » button. Anytime some porn actress looking bitch goes « hey there 🙂 » let me press a button and respond with a « fuck you ». And cc my messages to POF owners Match.com.
