POF : « Blocked » message appears after clicking on « Send »
So I was writing a new message to an user and after clicking on Send I got the « sorry, you’re blocked » warning. Is this a bug or part of the latest update? If it’s the latter, I don’t like it. You’re supposed to know about this before writing anything, especially if it’s a long message.

Somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but I think it’s always been like this. You won’t know you’ve been blocked until you hit the Send button.
The only way someone can block you on POF is if you have already sent them a message that went through, or they sent you a message. If you have never exchanged messages with the person on POF then they can’t block you and you can’t block them.

Match and OKC let you block before you send any messages or get any messages from a person though.

I had a guy once who would add me as a fav then send me a message then before I could respond I was blocked. He did this 2 different times. The 3rd time he tried to pull that crap I called him out on it before he could block me. I was like dude stop you have done this twice before im all set and not interested. He then responded acting like he didn’t know what he did and I blocked him lol
