POF : Body type – Big & Tall/BBW
You can’t be « big and tall » if your 5’2 and overweight. Your just fat. Please stop lying to everyone just to make yourself feel better. Also please stop using BBW because most of you are just fat not beautiful.

Who pissed in your cereal this morning? Chill out. There aren’t that many options for women to choose from or even to write in. And beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so you might not be attracted to them but some other guy might be. Honestly, you have some deep problems if you have to go on reddit to bitch about women and their appearances on POF. Get over yourself, show a little respect, and be a man.
What option would you suggest people use? It forces you to choose one from the list. « Prefer not to say? » Then it seems as if you are trying to hide something, when your size is very obvious.
In men’s clothing, Big & Tall often starts at pants with over a 38″ waist or XXL in shirts. The inseams run the full range, so you don’t have to be both big and tall to shop there. So, the name fits. And just because you don’t feel like those women are beautiful, others may. PoF uses these descriptors because they are easily recognizable and are a more positive way to say « overweight. »
If it isn’t your thing, you can easily filter your results to not include people who identify that way. I guess I’m not sure why you are bothered by it. No one is being dishonest – they are working with the options given.
There’s literally a question it asks you whether or not you’re okay with dating someone who has big and tall/bbw ticked. Just say no and move on, there’s no need to degrade and bash people are bigger than you. Get over it.

I think « big and tall » is supposed to be the male equivalent of « BBW ». What about big and short though? Not an option.
