POF : Pof is where the pond scum go
It is super easy.
Basically all you need to do is reverse engineer your profile / messages.
So if someone was to message you and you were not interested in them, what would they need to change about their profile or message to get you to reply?
When you figure out that it would not matter what they say or write in your profile as you are just not into them, you will be well on your way to understanding that you can not change peoples minds.
So focus on the ones that do respond and do not try and convert the ones that don’t.
7 Rules of Online Dating:
1. Be attractive.
Nope. Ain’t happening. I think I look more like a front loader that fell off a semi-truck and is laying on the side of the road with a death tarp covering it. I can’t help the way I was born. But I will shave my beard for the right girl. Since nobody is asking me to shave it, I think I’ll just keep it.
2. Write a great profile.
Can’t. I’m too busy trying to figure out how the heck I ended up on an online dating site. Yeah, I don’t have a clue either.
3. Don’t be a d*ck. Answer every message and be nice to people.
That I can do. All people really want is someone to be kind to them. That’s easy. That’s just me being me.
4. Don’t believe everything you read on the internet. People can be bigger jerks online than they are in person. But then, some people come off as horrendous as*holes online and turn out to be the sweetest things in person, so online personas can be a crapshoot.
5. Be honest. If all you’re interested in is a fling with a stranger, say so. If you want something more, like me (see below), then say that. Be upfront and open and the world is yours.
6. Don’t follow the rules of writing a great profile. If you do, you’ll just keep attracting the same old boring dudes you’ve always attracted. Make your own rules and stand out from the crowd. Or contact me and I’ll turn you into the most popular girl on here. It’s all in how you market yourself.
7. Don’t use pictures of your cat as your main profile pic. We don’t want to date your pet, we want to date YOU! Or don’t use one of you with a group of people. I get dizzy and lose interest trying to figure out which one is you. Just choose one that shows your eyes. I can tell your whole life story – every love you ever felt, every time you cried, every time you felt as if you just weren’t good enough for them – just by looking in your eyes. Eyes are VERY important.
If you wrote this much on your profile then maybe you don’t seem like a very interesting guy to be replied back to.
