POF : Can someone tell me how many women their actually are on pof
this is mostly just a small rank me running into nothing but bots and not once heard back from an actual woman

I do get replies, but they’re pretty rare I must say. And I can’t keep the conversation going for more than a few messages. No woman has ever shown genuine interest in me from POF.
I thought it might be my profile and photos, but I have the exact same profile on OkCupid and I get a decent amount of interest from there (admittedly mainly from women in other countries) and met 2 women in real life from OkCupid.
I also thought it might be the messages I send out, but I send almost identical messages on OkCupid and get a lot more responses.

POF is just a horrible site in general. I send out a few messages every few weeks (to women who are displayed as « online now » in my area) but I’m lucky to get a single reply.
Don’t bother with any of those sites.

I just tried POF again after a year.
It is not bots but the same 100 overly picky crazy serial daters that have been on the site for past 5 years.
New single people are just not using pof. Most the women left on the site at this point are just addicted to the attention of getting messages. Many depressed people too just using it for a little ego boost.
Even an old fat ugly woman on POF is going to have an inbox filled with « hey » .
At some point you just have to learn to hit on women in person. I just can’t see how a guy with any self respect can use this shit site anymore.

The problem with POF is Markus sold it to Match back in 2016 I believe and ever since then it has gone down hill. It was never like this when Markus owned it

There’s a small number of women who temporarily join the site, find someone then leave, and there’s a large number of women who are online every week and don’t say a fucking word to anyone.
Some will talk to you.
But most aren’t real
I see the same women on POF when I check in. Not much changes except for the number of bots that contact me as soon as I log on. That number has increased tenfold.
All the published stats I’ve seen suggest the overall ratio of men to women is about equal on the major dating sites. But it sure seems like it’s way more men than women. Now, for POF anyways, I’d really like to see the ratio of bots/scammers to real people trying to date.
I tried an experiment a few years ago. If I message a girl and she hasnt messaged me back in let’s say a week at the minimum I would send her another message in case they get bogged down by tons of messages. A few weeks go by still nothing. So I started negging these girls saying things like « so how many guys do you ignore on here? ». Now I do not suggest doing this, I just did it to prove a point. Those girls who didn’t respond… Well they responded but negatively. Many even admitted they look only at the thumbnail and if you are attractive to them well you get deleted.
Most are bots or thots
Well Im still alive lol. We smoked some buds and sat and talked for almost 3 hrs. We are gonna meet up again this week.
I have only ever talked to 3 real girls on the site over the last 4 years.. but has to be over 100 bots wanting my snapchat or kik.. I mean hell I wanna talk and get to know you and meet you before I hand that stuff out.. sucks that all my clever funny intros are going to waste #Canadainbots
