Anyone else noticed the cougars on Pof who deliberately register with a lower age so they can message young guys. Often the put « I’m 52 not 36 but it won’t let me change it » 😁

Ha! I’m 53 and am glad not to even have to look at anyone under 50.

I have my age setting 32-42 or something like that.
I get a message and look at the profile first. So many start with « I’m really 24 looking for an older woman » or something to that effect.
It’s to get around the age filter. It stops you from messaging anyone more than 12 years difference.
Men do it. It sucks that pof is set up that way. I had a profile with an older age because I like older men.
People lying about their age is one the big reasons we created DateAha! – so you can call out their lies with a comment directly on top of their POF profile for others to read. It forces daters to be more honest and transparent and stop wasting everyone’s time.
LMAO, yet they’ll still put the obligatory « not looking for hookups » on their profile. Hilarious!
But women dont have to put a lower age, the filters are only set M to F. The profiles doing that are likely fake and set up by men who dont realise that women can message whoever they want. I’m gonna hazard a guess that these profiles are definate milfs and not just normal older women.
I was messaged by a woman whos age was set at 43 out of the blue on a profile i’d created set at 26 because the usual 14 year rule is set much lower when M contacting F 18-19 year olds.
Women can message anyone of any age, men can only message women +/- 15 years their age.
