POF : Email Validation?
Does POF not do email validation? It doesn’t look like they do because people keep registering new accounts under my email address after I have them deleted.
This is likely how this site is so full of fakes and bots. Granted email validation doesn’t solve that, probably slow it down a bit but it certainly helps curb creating accounts under someone else’s address.

They do both email and phone verification, the phone thing was implemented a few months back and it stemmed the tide, they are now just a trickle of what they were, you should have seen the site before, just after the government legislation shut down craigslist personals.
Every single local prostitute was on pof with a profile, along with a truckload of scammers, it was madness.
