New to POF. Sorry if this has been asked before, but how do I view the profile of someone who likes me or message them? Do I really have to pay to do that?

Yes, but don’t worry there’s nothing but bots liking everyone’s profiles.
If you like someone and they like you, then you match and can chat. The likes you are seeing are not within your filters so you can pay to see them but it’s rare that you’d find anything real/interesting.
Zoosk is terrible cos u can match but one of you has to be paying to chat.
Bumble is pretty good but again, have to match to chat
Eharmony wants your money
Tinder isn’t terrible, again, gotta match
That being said all have fakes.
If someone likes you, you’ll be able to see if you’re a paid member.
However, if you’re not a paid member, what you can do, is look at your notifications, and you’ll see a thumbnail of their profile pic. Then go to the « likes » tab, and start swiping. Generally, if someone likes you, they’ll be one of the first few in the like-swipe section. Then you’ll be able to recognise their profile, swipe yes on them, and message them
