POF : I just joined
I feel like a sucker because there were 2 attractive girls who wanted to supposedly meet me so I decided to join. I ended up paying $38.00 for a 2 month membership. Once I joined, both girls were in different states and some other girls that I sent a « like » to yesterday, I just now realized they haven’t logged on to their profiles in weeks.
So I’m trying to remain positive. I sent 6 emails this morning (4 to girls who were online) thinking that may work better. One girl didn’t even read her email and she just deleted it. WTF is wrong with these sites! What a waste of time and money

These sites are a scam filled with Fakes , Zombies and Bots. I use the free version of POF.
(M 66) approx. 30 messages to various ladies 10 reply’s, 3 no thank you , 2 messaging only correspondence ( COVID ) . One date. I also got 2 messages from ladies . I only go for plane Jane there are usually more fun than a Trophy Queen. So its a little success for me
I just upgraded yesterday and I thought maybe I wasted my money but since then I have 4 women who have given me their phone number and 2 I’ve already talked to on the phone. I hope I’m not being scammed lol
first off why would you ever waste $38 that you could use for something else a good dinner of expensive meal a restaurant why would you give that fake debt platform of a dating app your hard-earned money to see if these women are reading your messages or deleting them why does it matter. you’re beating a dead horse I’ve been on that app for the past 15 years and I would never shout out any money to make them richer to see if a woman read my message or deleted obviously if they don’t reply back they’re either a bot they’re fake or they’re just looking for attention and seeing how many guys they can get in their inbox which is probably two or three hundred I would never waste my money on this dating platform or any other game platform you have to be kidding me that any guy that is desperate enough to waste their money on some dead platform that doesn’t guarantee you a date or a relationship or happiness or love these apps are money and cash grabs and all they care about is making you feel like you’re less than a human being and they destroy yourself confidence and self-esteem and you waste your money.
if it’s a waste of time and money why did you waste your money on it to each to his own I mean if you want to waste your money on that that’s your decision. but all I would say is these women on this plenty of fish take them in a grain of salt of them deleting your messages and never replying and just giving you a profile view because that’s what they do to every guy on there mainly all of them there’s a very select few very select few that are actually looking for a genuine Meetup in the real world and to pursue a relationship many of them are just looking for an EcoBoost and attention and if you’re not a guy that’s above 6 ft or looks like he goes to the gym and works out everyday or has a bank account full of money they can tell by your pictures if you don’t have either one of those two things then they will just read your message and delete it and that’s why they’re doing it I have one on there that I try to talk to any of them and that’s what happens to me and it takes some 12 days or week and a half to write reply back to you then you have to take it that they’re just playing games.
Sucks that you actually paid money. I’m a female & my luck has been horrible. It was marginally better before the pandemic. I would never pay. I think there are more bots & scammers on the guys side.
I just had my 2nd unread message. Why do girls not even look at the message and delete. I mean that’s kinda rude. I took the time out, the least they could do is read the message. I just don’t like online dating, girls have the upper hand
