I think some guys and some girls do this because POF has a feature where you can check a box off to make sure all first messages come from only people who have a profile picture. As a woman I can’t stand pictures like that. I don’t care if a guy has a lot of photos, if he has sunglasses on in all of them I won’t bother messaging. I want to see exactly what he looks like.

The top far right one is usually one a guy will use if he is just looking for something casual or doesn’t want people to know he is into kink. It is either that or he is an escort or has a gf or a wife that doesn’t know he is on POF
I took a look at some guy profiles to see if I could do something unique. There are definitely some low effort bios out there for sure but I didn’t find it to be THAT much worse than women with a bunch of snapchat filter pics and « Jusk ask » bios.
Women still have the best hypocritical photos. You know the ones where the woman looks like a sex worker / slag / stripper etc but has a profile with the complete opposite of those photos…..Pure attention seeking at its finest and they moan when guys send suggestive messages.
