Usually when someone reads a profile that interests them beyond a hook up they tend to initiate a message with something that resonated with them on their profile. If she had a well written profile and you open up with hey, her assumption isn’t outlandish.
If she has no profile but expects you to be original that is a different story.
Her inquiry with regards to if you read her profile leads me to believe she has more than « I like travel food and trying new things »
I did upvote because the conversation did give me a laugh, but I have no idea what you never dating someone over 30 or white has to do with anything – that caveat is a bit off putting and should probably be left out.
Honestly both of you were wrong in this. She because she accused you of objectifying her for no reason and you for proving her right with your last comment. You should of just blocked her and I don’t even know why she responded.
I would do something better with a « hey ». That’s just not even trying.
only thing i can think of is that youre younger than her or really older than her. i can tell you that when my profile was up on dating sites, i had guys as young as 18 right swiping and saying whats up. about 90% of guys that right swiped on me and was younger than 35 was just looking for sex. i got tired of giving them a chance, or letting the curiosity get the better of me, cause in the end, they spoke to me disrespectfully and acted like i should be honored that my old crusty gaping snatch can be blessed by them. some of them genuinely wanted to settle down and have kids, but with mcdonalds money or their allowance ffs. im 39, with a mortgage, btw. thats probably why she acted that way. everything else is pretty normal. everybody has a certain level of crazy, and ethnicities have certain flavors of crazy.
That’s all I’m saying. Yes you can look for context clues but don’t just jump out the gates , be ready to go to war but allow the other party to be dumb enough to start it first.
Me pointing out her own contradiction is hardly the same as my thoughts on her. No offense but it’s okay that someone go down alone stretching that hard so both can be at fault is just silly.
Some people seem to be just looking for a fight. After her first message, I would have said something like, « That’s good. Neither am I. »
It’s simple. Its my intentions are in question. And so what else would you use in place of facts to know my true intentions?
