POF : Is it worth deleting my account?
Hello, everyone! I’m 20 years old and made a new account on POF not too long ago (this is not the first account I’ve had). I managed to have a few conversations with some decent women, but they eventually fizzled out. I send anywhere from 30-50 messages a day and get a terrible return on investment. I’ll probably get 1 or 2 responses back out of all those messages. There was one person I was talking to and she hasn’t logged in for about a week. Part of me is still holding out hope that she will log back in so I can ask her for her social media and delete the damn app. I am emotionally fatigued from sending out so many messages for so little in return.
I have no idea what else to do with my profile. I’m smiling in most of my pictures (including my main), have pics with other people, and actually put effort into making my profile and bio. I tried online dating again because there are not many opportunities to meet women where I live. Should I accept defeat and delete my account or keep it?

Don’t waste your time talking online too much, phone and meet asap, pics with other people can be confusing, don’t spend too much time on pof, just wait for people to view or message you. Try other dating sites.

If it is making you unhappy, then delete it. If you think you can power through and are thick-skinned enough to handle so much rejection, and hold out for that girl that finally agrees to go out with you, then keep it.
After two months of constantly getting ignored or ghosted, I found myself out of desperation talking with a woman that was fourteen years my elder. I then asked myself, « what the hell am I doing? », then promptly deleted the app.
Just out of curiosity are you sending the same exact message to these women? No offense but when on POF I sometimes got messages that were clearly copy paste messages that you could tell were sent to multiple women. Not saying you are doing that just wondering if you are.
