Never met one person yet off of POF. But keep getting scammers trying to video chat with me and there are a lot of profiles of women that should be in their 40s but the scammer posts pics of a 20 year old year and say it was a mistake. Lol.
I met one person that was great off of FB Dating App but then she dumped me. Now the app barely shows me one person a day in my area. Apparently not many people joining it.
OKcupid, Zoosk, and Hily all ban you if you use a VPN. Which is ridiculous since while in internet cafes I use VPN to secure my connection. I’ve been banned from those with my primary email.
It has always had bots but now days, it has ramped up big time. Used to be a few bots for every 20 people you scroll through. Now it’s more bots than real people scrolling. It’s ridiculous.

Why would someone trying to find a date, care if your giving POF money? I went into my preferences and turned mine off. Such a strange preference to have an option for.
I also tried to send a message to this girl that i think was real. But apparently she has a minimum message character requirement. I try to keep it simple, so i wrote a standard two sentance intro. Got the flag from POF. I added two more lines and still got the flag. I gave up after that. This site is for weirdos. What did she want, my doctoral thesis on why we should hang out?
Most but not all of it. I’ve successfully met my bf currently off pof. I’m 24 F. Females side of pof isn’t all roses either I wish it was. What the end I deal with is men constantly asking for hookups, FWB, being ghosted because I won’t ever send nudes.
Its knowing what you want in a partner and keeping to those and things you want. Never bend or change your standards for someone ever. I was not relying on pof but when something good came along I knew I had to give it a shot.

It really is all bots now. I would log on occasion and see nothing on it really and then close it. Usually within minutes of closing it, I get several emails that « so and so wants to meet! » or « You got a message from so and so: « hey 🙂 » »
There are real people on their (I have talked to in the last month 5 out 10 (The other 5 were bots/scammers)
Its getting that way. About 80%.
Right now I’m texting a scammer how is doing the ol’ Naked Pictures, sign up on a « Verification » website scam
Go out and get women there are plenty. All sites are shit.
