POF : Is there a way to get around the message that tells you a person is looking for somebody else and won’t allow you to message them?
Every once in awhile I’ll find someone on plenty of fish I really like. There profile seems to fit me perfectly. But when I go to send them a message POF pops up this little window saying that the persons looking for somebody different than myself and would I rather message somebody else instead? I’m not quite sure how plenty of fish makes that determination and I’m wondering if there is a way around it? I end up liking them anyhow so they can always message me I suppose unless plenty of fish gives them the same message back

Tat person has preferences set for a partner that you don’t meet. Ie an age range that you don’t fall in to. You can’t get around it unless you create a new account.
I had a woman like me, so I tried to message her and got the message that she is looking for something else
I have never seen that, I wish I did
Maybe it’s a USA thing
In my country, it doesn’t matter if they meet my criteria or not, I get messages from people not in my preference range
yes if it says that, dont try to circumvent it. its just like when you ask them out irl and they decline, you dont find away around it. just have to move on, i used to see it when i was on pof, and im a woman.
