POF : Issues with Plenty of Fish
Hoping someone knows what’s going on and can help.
So I finally took the plunge and signed up to PoF Created a profile – all is well.
Then to my astonishment as I was getting to grips with the app I received some interest. But obviously I had to upgrade to be able to make contact. So I thought, great I’ll sign up for the 3 month trial.
I did this and payment seemed to go through ok, but then the app would not register that I had upgraded. it kept saying to view the profile that was interested in me I had to upgrade my account?????
I checked my iTunes account and sure enough PoF is now on there with the subscription to expire in 3 months – as I would expect to see.
So I then tried to access my account through my laptop, but It would not recognise my user name or password. So I reset the password and tried again, still nothing – Message said user name or password invalid.
Then, the App on my phone throws me out and now will not except my user name or password.
I tried resetting again this time through my phone but again nothing. So I checked my stored passwords for PoF and the password I am typing does match and is correct.
So in short I signed up, and paid a subscription to an app that no longer recognises me and I can’t access. There appears to be no real customer support for PoF so Im hoping someone might be able to explain what is going on???

The only thing I can suggest is delete and redownload the app.
I’ve had this happen with a different subscription app and the app wasn’t able to fix it—I ended up needing to get a refund through Apple and then I bought a subscription from the service’s website afterward. I don’t know if it would be the same in your case. There is a POF customer service email that you should be able to find on their FAQ/help page. Also FYI, your subscription doesn’t expire in 3 months, it will automatically renew unless you cancel.
