POF : I’ve sent at least 20 messages
I posted a few days ago saying “I paid for a membership” and I wanted to give an update. I must have sent at least 20 to
25 messages to women who were either in my same area or within a 50 mile radius and the result was nothing! I seriously thought I had a shot with a few of them but not even one non spam reply back. I did have a few obvious spammers and bots. Yesterday, some girl wanted my number to see if I was real. I immediately replied back with the current time so she could see I was a real person. She replied again but at that point I just deleted her message and that was it. Other than that no one else bothered to reply back.
I would love to meet someone in the “real world”’ but with covid going on and I’m not involved in a lot of activities it’s just hard meeting someone. My child’s daycare teacher is cute and we have a connection but I think that’s borderline creepy if I ask her out. I don’t want to be the creepy dad hitting on my child’s daycare teacher; I think that’s somewhat inappropriate.
I’m going to sleep I just had enough. I do have a girlfriend but I’m just keeping her around until I find someone else who I can have a real relationship with.

At first I was like « OK, thats pretty typical of guys on POF ». Theres lots of guys, very few girls, and I know of girls that only read a small portion of the messages that they receive.
Then i read your last comment. Just break up with her. You deserve the shit you get if you treat someone like that.

paid for a match membership 3 weeks back I’ve only talked to 2 people with responses so far apart. it’s not worth replying to them.
so hopped on pof with a new account and it’s like a ghost town. did notice theres a lot of 50 to 60 year old woman claiming to be 30.
