And that’s exactly why they have that « feature ». « Meet me » is a « swipe » function in the app. It shows you people in your area, but also sometimes up to 100 miles away. It has NOTHING to do with the person actually wanting to « meet you ». They were bored and started swiping.
« Meet me » really means « saw photo, wasn’t immediately repulsed ».
Yes you gotta pay.
However, I don’t really care because most of the time people who wanna “meet me” are bots.
