POF : Messages and profile disappearing as if I’m blocked?
I really started hitting it off with someone yesterday who definitely wasnt a bot. We were having a really good convo, then suddenly I went to open our messages and they’d disappeared. I also couldn’t get to her profile and it wasnt showed up in my viewed or favourites. At first i thought she’d just blocked me randomly.
But then today i woke up to a notification that i had a message from someone who again I’m pretty certain was legit. I hadnt talked to her before. I went to open the message and it wouldnt open. Cant find her profile, message not showing in my inbox.
The only trace of these people is a notification saying they messaged me.

Maybe some idiots are reporting her because she’s not replying to them? Currently talking to someone who is way out of my league, but her talking seems very human so I’m confused. Also any bots I’ve talked to go straight to the point with a link or a cell number. Probably a catfish. Said she’s been clean from heroin for 2 months, told me she had a bad day and got some needles yesterday. Just seems like a fuckin made up story lol. Told her I’m ~disabled, no job, no car, women is a solid 10 from my eyes, probably even from other people’s eyes. How is all this not a problem? But hey it’s kinda fun and I’m going at it like she is a catfish so I’m not building up hope or anything.
If the messages and user both disappear, 99% of the time they were deleted by POF, as good chance they were scammers.
