I see a lot of age 39’s but then you read their profile and it says « I’m actually 48 » and I’m like oh really? You accidentally put 39 as your age? I don’t buy It.
I’m a male, early 40s—and the 25 year-old ME would have absolutely LOVED the opportunity to date women in their 40s back then. And I’m sure they would have loved to date the 25 y.o. ME, as well.
I don’t fully understand the ruleset on the site, but PoF just automatically thwarts love in these scenarios? Or can the 25 y.o. at least call the shots and say, “I’m specifically looking for someone 20 years my senior!”?
And AGREED to the OP. Women routinely add 10+ years on these sites. It used to really freak me out, looking at these deluded desperate nasties, thinking, ‘OMG. She’s 43, and I’m 42. Do I look THAT old, and I’m just fooling myself? I’m not that old and worn out, am I?’
NO. She’s actually 56 and showing pics from when she was 38, 44, 48, 56, 56 and 48.
Women lie about age, guys lie about height.
