POF : My account was hacked
I signed up to POF last year and haven’t used it since then. A few weeks ago I started receiving emails saying that people have sent me messages but I couldn’t log into my account. I’ve finally changed the password and logged in today and had a look at my profile. The whole thing has changed and the photos are of a woman who looks like an Instagram model. They have been responding to messages and matched a few people. I just don’t understand why someone would bother hacking my account. It’s free and they haven’t upgraded it. Has this happened to anyone else?

I’ve had the same thing.
Happened to mine about 5 months ago. Notifications stopped once I changed the password. Whoever hacked it, changed everything but the About Me.
They even replied to some woman via email that they were using their deceased brother’s account.
