POF : My story of a guy I met twice on POF that continues to harass me nearly 3 years later. Be safe
I met this guy on POF in the fall of 2017 and met up with him twice. I felt something was off about him because he seemed way too desperate to get into a relationship and would share really personal things with me a week into talking. It just seemed like he was willing to date anybody. Long story short after the second meet up I told him I wasn’t interested and maybe we could be friends. My mistake. He continued to message me nonstop for the next 2 weeks and be really pushy until finally I told him maybe it’s better to stop communicating all together. He swore at me over text and I moved on. 4 months later he messages me again, I tell him I’m not interested and he swears at me over text.
I delete my POF account a couple months prior to that incident and got into a 2 year relationship starting in summer of 2018. That fall he messages me and I decide to block the number. He decides to text me on WhatsApp and I don’t reply. I block him and it appears he got a new number and starts texting me from WhatsApp. In January I guess he found my Facebook, and kept messaging me but I didn’t reply and finally told him to stop messaging me and that’s it’s been more than 2 years. He swears at me again (I guess that’s his pattern) says he has a girlfriend and just wanted to check up on me. He’s instantly blocked. And guess what…..I guess he got a new number again because he just messaged me once again on WhatsApp this morning?!?
I don’t know where I’m going with this post but I’m venting. I know dating apps always bring the risk of stalking but I’ve noticed from my experience with POF years ago it feels like it brings out the worst and creepiest guys/girls out there. Stay safe everyone!

Im having that problem right now (F60) I have blocked him (M62) but continue to somehow get occasional messages and earlier today i got a weird phone text. I never gave him my number but I feel like it was him
one of the biggest threats statistically to women’s health and wellbeing are men.
I was talking to a lady on there a while ago, not quite as long as your case, but we never even made it to meet in person. She still to this day will occasionally text me trying to strike up a conversation even though I’ve said several times I wasn’t interested.
If I were a woman I’d be quick to get a restraining order against these types of dudes.
And this probably why women never reply on pof to begin because of this physcho no wonder it’s useless for Me, ever bother with it women never reply.this guy makes guys like me looking bad.
