POF : Never Pay to Message
I have to wonder if POF is trying to scam low IQ guys when I keep seeing the fake profiles with ‘ To message **fakeprofilename**, you must meet the following criteria: **Upgraded Member** Upgrade now to message her.
They are always from « Nearby » or some shit like that and their blurb is some generic pablum. Mentioning loyalty and love seem pretty constant.
Aside from the fact that they are usually much hotter than the women typically into you; no real woman is going to massively restrict her pool of guys by restricting messages to paid members, so it sure looks like a bait to pay thing.

Remember the Nigerian 419/advance-fee scammers? You would think that email scammers would make their story more believable, but it turns out they deliberately make their story obviously unbelievable to weed out all but the most gullible.

Well then hire a lawyer, prove your claim and get rich.
Or understand that yes someone people do use that restriction and also some people are not smart enough when setting up their profile to change the email settings as there was a time (not sure if it is still the same) that was set by default on all new profiles.
