As a guy looking for a gal, after first text it seems a bit odd for me, for them to give out a phone number?
Is it a scam or am I being paranoid?

Almost every time that happened to me it was a scammer who wanted to get off the app incase they get deleted.
Scam.
Scammers every time
I suspect they get cash for each harvested active number.
I used a burner app to see where it went. The « girl » agreed to hang out with me and she wanted to come to my city but alas, she needed 50 bucks for gas.
I imagine that’s how most of them go.
Definite scam… the number she gave me had a 540 area code… jokes on her… that’s my area code from back home in Virginia… I definitely live in Arizona now. I called her out on it and the profile magically disappeared lol
