POF : Online status……
This guy I’ve been talking to for a little over a month has agreed to delete/put our accounts on hide mode since we’re taking things to the next level.
He says he deleted the app, but when my friend checks the app she sees the green online dot next to his name. And correct me If I’m wrong but the green dot stays there unless they log off or close the app? Like not have it open in the background but actually close it out. Just looking for some clarification on how the online status works if anyone knows. I’d hate to accuse him of something without further clarity. Hopefully this makes sense. I’m exhausted and frazzled.

I have heard that online status isn’t reliable. POF will show ppl online when they aren’t to make it seem more active.
Your friend could try to interact with him and see if he is actively using it. If someone is a subscriber they can also see his last online.
