POF : Only accepts messages from upgraded members / but not an upgraded member
So explain this to me. An account requires me to be upgraded to have the privilege of sending them a message that gets ignored, but the account in question isn’t upgraded?

Probably sick of being catfished. Idk if a catfish or a « fake » account is gonna pay just to get banned. Or that they think having a premium account makes you look more serious about it and not looking for hookup
I will admit I was one of those people, but it was totally accidental. I was changing some of my options in the settings area, and I wasn’t aware I clicked Yes on that option. I kept getting messages from upgrades users only, and I was confused why this was. I did get it updated to get regular people messages. Ic it’s not accidental it’s probably because they think those upgrades users are more serious, and or have more financial opportunities.
Can you really not see what’s going on here? POF is a business just like anything else. Desperate people will upgrade just so they can talk to that fake account.
