POF : Password Reset Spam

I have recently got back into PoF and have started to get spammed fairly heavily with password reset requests. My email got out a while ago but everything got locked down and changed and it was just a junk email anyway.

I could see someone trying thinking they could get the email from my email but after the first failure, why are they still trying? I was tempted to just change the active email for my account but am a bit paranoid. I could see this being used to trick customer support into painting my as the hacker and the other person as the legitimate user when they put in a ticket that the ‘hacker’ got into their account and changed the email and if they could change it now to -insert hacker email-.
