POF : Pof is now infested with those snapchat scammer bots from tinder.
My pof was dead for years and suddenly I have a surge of messages from hot women after uploading a new pic. I thought I was a lucky man after uploading the pic and even started buying boost tokens but now I feel really stupid because all these women are fake. All they do is try to harvest your phone number or snapchat with little to no conversation beforehand, often in the first message. These bots appeared on tinder years ago and for a while pof was one of the only safe and sane places left but now it seems they have been ported here as well.

From what I understand, many of the online dating sites our now owned by the same people. The guy who started POF sold it quite a while back.
It’s been that way for awhile now. At least a year. As a general rule I have nothing to do with any profile that mentions Snap Chat. Of course that eliminates a large percentage of them.
Also infested with obesity 90 percent of girls i see are huge but alot of them lie also saying their average size
POF is free. This is the biggest problem. This opens the door for scammers. They somehow had to be laid back after them banning innocent users as this cost them money but also opened the door for scammers again.
To detect those bots or scammers is if they are not in the same city as you than its not real or realistically within 50 mile radius or so.
I suspect that 9 out of every 10 accounts is fake
