Dating : How do I tell my parents
I’m a very cautious person and I won’t leap into anything without knowing everything about it unless there’s no chance of me losing anything. But I’m here to ask how do I tell my parents about my first girl friend. I’m awfully young so I feel like they might not believe me and I don’t want to be all dramatic when it’s not that big of a deal, so how do I tell them? Should I do it casually? Seriously? If it’s even one of these 2, what situation do I bring it up in? Like in my last post, I’m completely lost and nervous.
Simple; hey mom and/or dad, I have a girlfriend. No over thinking needed.
Well when i got my first girlfriend my parents just knew she was my girlfriend without me saying anything to them. She would come over to watch movies or just to chill with me and my parents would see us holding hands or cuddling so they just knew without me having to say anything. (I was 19 at the time and i’m still with her 2 years later so i think you’re younger than me but it shouldn’t make much of a difference)
