POF : Problem with search (radius)
Over the past 24 hours I am having trouble with my searches. No matter what radius I use (25, 50 or 100 miles) I am only getting profiles from my exact city and none of the outlying communities. Is anyone else having this problem or is just me? If it’s just me, any recommendations to fix it? I have contacted POF about it but haven’t heard back yet.

Yeah, I’m having the same problem. Only shows results from my exact city. If they don’t fix it soon I’m just gonna delete my POF and stop using online dating entirely. I live in a rural area and don’t really feel like entering the dozens of towns within a 50 mile radius one by one each time I want to see who the new users are.
POF used to be okay about 10 years ago, but they’ve made quite a few changes over the last 5. Every single one of those changes has been for the worse. It’s like they asked their users, « What would make this a better experience for you? » Then they did the opposite.
Their entire search function has been screwed up ever since they rolled out their new BS layout and they haven’t done a damn thing to fix it. It’s unreal. How do you not repair something as simple as a search function on an online dating site where you are literally SEARCHING for people?
This is the response I got from them. I take it they won’t ever answer my question?

I’m getting almost the opposite: I live in Toronto, and a lot of my « matches » are from Buffalo and Rochester, New York…
Just paid to upgrade , bad decision, nothing works anymore, hate the new format, get the old format updated yes but not as it is. No point in giving option to search distance height etc when it doesn’t work, it used to come on POF get your act together.
