POF : Question regarding ‘____ Wants to meet you’ emails
Hi guys. I’ve been dating my boyfriend for a year now. I found emails from last year regarding plenty of fish. Most were random, like one every once in a while. Now, there’s one soecific day in June where there were about 7-8 emails from POF saying “____ wants to meet you!” Most of the time stamps of the emails that day were in the span of a couple of hours (around noon). A couple of them were from earlier that day around 4-6:30am. There were no other emails that day, like as in someone liking him or mutual matches. I’m just wondering if that means he logged into his account that day and is just denying it. Also, every single email from that day were already opened. Like he viewed them. But yet almost all other random emails throughout the year from POF weren’t opened (like an email out of the blue about a mutual like). Sorry if this isn’t allowed here.

If you have been together for a year why does he still have an active profile on a dating site??? Huge red flag that he is talking or more to other people. If he was serious about you, he would have hidden or deactivated his account. Sorry. 🙁
So these emails you found were from 8 months ago? Wouldn’t that have been right around the time when you met him?
My guess: he logged back into his account (won’t speculate whether he did anything there or not) and that bumped his profile back into the Recently Online status and he got noticed by a bunch of women.
You two belong together. He is doing this, it doesnt seem to really bother you that he is. So keep dating the guy who is on dating apps.
What are you doing even looking at his emails in the first place isn’t that a bit underhand and creepy? Seems to me you have a major trust issue as you would not be searching his emails in the first place
