POF : Removing hide profile?!
What fucking idiot developer thought this was a good idea to remove the ability to hide your profile « to increase site transparency »?!
Say I started talking to someone, and we seem to be hitting it off and I definitely don’t wanna stay on the site while I’m talking to this person out of respect for them, but if it doesn’t work out, I’ll likely be back.
So now I have to totally delete my account, and if I come back and create a « new » account I risk being banned for breaking the TOS for having too many accounts?
Real asshole design, ya fucks. Seriously, eat shit.

I hide mine all the time. The option is still there
I remember some options would be only available on the website or the app. The hide option was on both yet as far as I remember. I think in the app it was like light blue text you clicked at the bottom of your profile, or at the bottom of your settings.
I went to hide my profile and thought that I just forgot where the option was. In other news, you’re weirdly angry over something so little. You don’t need a date, you need a trained mental health professional.
Just another reason to switch to one of the other 44 Match Group sites, only to further your disappointment.
