[I am obviously not the most handsome man and my age doesn’t help my case either. I probably don’t have the best startup or pick up lines because I am certainly not an expert when it comes to dating or asking a woman out but one thing is certain I will Love, cherish, respect, care and be forever loyal and grateful to the woman who I eventually fall in love with. Are you a doctor, nurse, or is this a halloween costume?
The point is, your profile should talk about you, not how much you will cherish « any woman that gives [you] a chance ». Don’t sound so desperate, especially if you use that stethoscope professionally. You have a lot going for you. Mention hobbies outside of work, things you like, places you would like to see. (notice I didn’t say places you’ve been). Also take words like « falling in love » out of this. It’s a dating profile. If love happens that is awesome… but setting that expectation from the outset is too much pressure on you and your potential date.
Photo: Yes use, the uniform. But have someone else take the photos, of you in action. Not suggesting a photo of you doing heart surgery, but at least stand up. Let’s see more of what you look like). You’re a good looking man… but that angle is doing horrible things to you.
Note from a guy who just crossed the 50 mark… Age is not much of a hinderance.

Please don’t lead with I’m not the most attractive when we all know you’re not an eye sore trust I’m certain we’ve all seen far worse!!! There’s no reason to be down on yourself!!!! Also if you have wonderful attributes, great!!! But anything beyond common respect and courtesy should be earned anyway. Speak on yourself what you enjoy let people get to know you.. The real you not what you want them to accept. I hope you find a date but I honestly despise dating sites you’d be better finding love on reddit and you do need to state your title if you’re going to post a photo in scrubs. Best of luck
