POF : What works what doesn’t on POF compared to OkC or other sites?
I’m on both, because although I’d like a serious relationship, I’m not in an urgent need for marriage and otherwise don’t feel like paying for eHarmony, Match, et al.
Anyways, the one thing that I liked best about OkC is that you could actually see the read/unread/deleted status of messages without having to pay. Sadly that feature is long gone, and I’ve swung back towards OkC since they have that « magical » (skeptical) matching algorithm.
Anyways has anyone found certain tricks that work better on POF to get more messages/responses?

What really annoys me about POF is how so many women have short short profiles and only one photo but it is of 2+ people.
Though my response rate is slightly better on OkC I’m still friends with POF dates that didn’t pan out, where as the same can’t be said for OkC.
