What does “on your feed” mean?
Genuine question because I don’t use the matching part of POF. I just search by desired characteristics and go from there.
This might explain my experience and maybe a defect in the app. Two people were on my “wants to meet you” list that I assume comes from both of us swiping that we liked each other’s photos (or profiles.). But when I hit the contact button I got the message “ZZ is looking for a different type of person. Why not message one of your matches instead?” Except that was a match and we have never spoken so it’s doubtful I would be blocked. I wasn’t even aware there was a contact restriction available — maybe it’s only on the website and not the app? (Yes, I use the app).
Its part of the site designers policing who can talk to who.
