POF : What’s with every profile wanting you follow their IG and Snapchat accounts?
I Just joined the online dating scene to see what’s out there and to be honest it’s a little annoying, it seems like 90% of the profiles are either scams, wanna-be IG models/influencers or escorts that want you to watch their live shows (whatever the hell those are)? As soon as I see an empty or 1 word bio written in poor English and a “follow my snap at …” I swipe left.
Is my instinct correct in saying that most of those profiles are fake? Or am I just an old fashioned millennial out-of touch with the current dating scene?

It’s hard to be an influencer in today’s market the honest way. Even if you are pretty because ton of prettier girls got in earlier. It’s hard for them to get scene organically, so many girls are using dating sites to build an audience. As many have said most are fake and chances are you they will never go on a date if they are real. Any ig bio post I just ignore.

It depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for volume and just want to hook up with a bunch of women then yes, its going to be frustrating. However, if you’re looking for an actual relationship then just keep that in mind. You only need to find one.
