OK, what I am about to talk about will happen on any dating site, to any user at any given time, I get that. But the frequency with which it happens now seems FAR beyond what might be considered statistically normal. In a nutshell….

And then crickets….even though she is still showing as being online an hour later. I understand people have lives, often time walk away from their phone, etc. But why engage me to immediately ignore me? Again, if it wasn’t due to the relentless consistency of this shit I could and would chalk it up to factors mundane. Another issue is with conversations going well and then, once I ask to meet for a drink, take her out to lunch, dinner, etc, she stops communicating, sometimes never to come back, even when I see her online and pop in with a cheerful « Hi! How you doing? »
now for the crazy shit, I really get the feeling that I am in some sort of site sandbox and that these profiles are employees (or hackers?) just keeping my ass busy chasing my tail. Does anybody have any information as to these dating sites in terms of how they operate, etc? Anybody have an ex or friend or family member who worked or works at any of these dating sites? Politically and ideologically the site and profiles seem slanted left for sure. I can’t help but think that some women’s group has hacked the site and are fucking with me. I am normally not the conspiracy type.
