POF : Who remembers when they had forums?
I wish they didn’t get rid of it because it was downright hilarious. I fondly remember a 40ish man calling out a woman of a similar age for driving past him and flaking. He was standing in front of a Walmart and he saw her drive by and looked at him in disgust and sped off. She defends herself saying that he didn’t look like his picture and he blasts back that she forgot to add that she gained 100lbs.
There was also an absurd amount of women who would ask for help on their profile just to have guys boost their ego.
Who remembers the forums? If you think pof is bad now you should have seen it then.

I used to be able to search by interest and find all the girls who were into weightlifing. One of the best girlfriends I had was a girl who was into lifting and it was so easy to find her. Now, it’s nearly impossible for me to know what people like.
They actually still have the forms you just have to find them. I started on POF back in 2009 and I remember when you could really filter out who messages you, and not just by distance and age range. I also remember when you could send virtual gifts to someone on their profile and also make comments to someone on their profile. It would also tell you if someone else liked the person you were talking to. POF eventually got rid of all that
I do, I remember forum posts being featured on profiles, gifts, username searches, emails that name people who hit yes on meet me, all the fun things that made pof slightly nice to use, now its all about dodging bans and trying to squeeze conversation of of any woman who will type a response to a greeting.
I remember them being a shit hole. People were just so mean.
I thought the forums were gone forever, I remember when you could feature forum posts on your profile publicly.
At Least there were no bots back then. I actually had better luck at pof in the past.
