POF : Why so many widowers?
Hi. Just rejoined POF. Nuthin fancy just the basic free version. Anyway, why are many of the 50-60 yr old guys listed as widowers? Is it a bullshit sympathy ploy? I’ve never in person dated online, only texted a little bit in the past. Reactivated my very basic account & am txting some seemingly nice guys, But I smell a rat. Many divorced. Ok thats normal. But whats up? Are these widowers full of shit? Apprehensive and terrified in NJ. Thx😍

I play the card once in a while, never noticed a difference, typically only .0000001% respond anyway. I think its easier to be struck by lighting or win the lotto that find anyone on POF, with my luck, it would be lightning.
It must be true for at least some of them. Why does it sound fishy? I know I wouldn’t be on there if my wife were still alive.
