POF : Yet another feature disabled
Has anyone else noticed that the little notification bell at the top left corner of the app is missing today?
Every few weeks pof takes another feature away from us. Last month they started blurring out the « viewed me » section, all but the 3 most recent views. Those 3 will likely be the next to go, and we will have to pay to see who viewed us.
We all agree that pof used to be pretty good, and now it isn’t, and that it’s getting worse every month. Pof knows we’re complaining, but the downward trend continues, as they systematically remove features and make us more and more blind.
Part of me wishes they would just cut the foreplay and make it a pay site already, so we can all finally give up hope and delete our profiles.

and yet none of these feature prevent you from looking at profiles and emailing them for free and that is all you need from a dating site as all other things are just fillers/primers either designed to keep you on the site longer or to con you into paying for services that do nothing.

People have been claiming that POF will go to a pay model from the 1st day they opened up the forums, this is nothing new and given the fact that Match already owns pretty much all dating site inc POF it would make no sense to break something that is a cash cow. Which explains why they paid ~$575Million for it

Either way, taking away stuff that does not matter, does not matter.
