Tinder : Am I the only sad, lonely person on here who almost reflexively downvotes the happy « I met the love of my life on tinder » posts out of bitterness?
To be clear, I don’t downvote. I think it’s amazing and it gives me a little hope. Updoot every time. But tinder for me has been nothing but a shitshow and now I’m a jaded shell of a girl lol

I’m guessing the “i met the love of my life on tinder posts” are like 1 in a million, or at best 1 in 10,000. I won’t look down on you for downvoting every 10,000sth post.

I think there should be a separate subreddit called r/TinderSuccess or something. The whole point of this subreddit feels more like bitching about how shitty dating is, but those people come along and just interrupt the pity party. Lmao.
Were I to downvote those posts, it would be because they look like a corporate notion of reaching out to us grassroots style.
I’m having a hard time with them right now. I met the love of my life on Tinder, too, only she recently dumped me without warning a year into what I thought was a very successful and happy relationship. So those posts kind of bring up a wave of sadness every time and I scroll past a quickly as I can.
